A quick scan of a 5x4 wet collodion plate I made today. I wanted the plate to have a lot of texture in it’s own right, reflecting that which is held in the subject matter, thus amplifying the mood of the piece. This is why it is covered in process artifacts.
The wet collodion process is so versatile, anything you can imagine, you can create. With a little patience…
